The annual flagship report Global Status of CCS Report 2020 finds that the past year, albeit full of challenge and turmoil, saw a sustained lift of CCS globally. With increasing national governments announcing more ambitious climate targets, the Institute believes that CCS will be a crucial part of net-zero technology portfolio, especially for hard-to-abate sectors.
